Family, my heart has been heavy, and God has been speaking. After Charlie Kirk’s passing, the Lord gave me three powerful words that shook me and reminded me of His eternal perspective.
If you’ve ever asked, “Why does God allow tragedy?” — this message is for you. Today we’ll look at what the Holy Spirit revealed, how it applies to your life, and how you can use your words and faith to stand strong in difficult seasons.

1. God Allows What We Don’t Understand for Eternal Purposes
Charlie Kirk’s life was dedicated to truth and boldness in Christ. His passing is tragic, but God reminded me of Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”
We may not understand why God allows certain things, but He sees eternity. His ultimate purpose is always salvation, freedom, and more souls in His kingdom.
2. Pay Attention to What the Enemy Tries to Silence
After Charlie’s death, I saw heartbreaking comments online — even people celebrating his passing. The Lord convicted me: this is spiritual warfare, and we should be careful not to be used as a tool in the enemy’s agenda.
The enemy always tries to silence voices carrying truth and ones that the Lord is speaking through to have his culture manifest in his people. History proves this with Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., and now with modern-day voices. As believers, we must ask: What message is the enemy trying to silence? That’s often where God’s truth is breaking through most powerfully.
3. Guard Your Heart Against Idolatry and Culture’s Pull
The third word God gave me was a warning. Our culture loves to elevate self — feelings, desires, even identity above Christ. But true freedom only comes when we surrender to Jesus fully.
The Israelites struggled with this in Judges, blending into the culture around them instead of following God wholeheartedly. Today, we must ask: What idols am I holding on to? Money, addiction, gender, appearance, even pride can keep us from God’s best.
Find Comfort in the Holy Spirit
In this season of grief, we must let the Holy Spirit comfort us. Jesus called Him our Helper for times like this (John 16:7). Whether you’re grieving a loss, struggling with addiction, or facing overwhelming darkness — you are not alone.
Psalm 19:7 reminds us: “The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul.” God’s Word revives, strengthens, and restores us.
Conclusion: Rise, Speak, and Shine Light in Darkness
Charlie’s legacy will continue, not because of his name, but because of Christ shining through him. And now, it’s on us as believers to rise up, declare God’s truth, and not be silenced.
